Ballroom, Latin & Sequence dance classes for couples
in Stamford
Learning to dance with Nene School of Dancing in Stamford means learning all three styles, not one. Every class covers Ballroom, Latin and Sequence together, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where adults of all ages can learn, socialise and build new skills. All three are danced with a partner, so our Stamford classes are for couples and you'll need to come along with someone.

Every Stamford class covers Ballroom, Latin and Sequence
Our Stamford classes cover Ballroom, Latin and the most popular sequence dances in the same lesson, so you build something you can actually use, whether that is a cruise, a local dance club or a dancing break. Beginners and Improvers sessions both run at the Stamford United Reformed Church Hall on Broad Street, in the centre of town.
There is no Latin night and no Ballroom night here. You'll pick a class, turn up, and learn a little of each week by week until you have enough to get up and join in without having to think about it. Learning to dance gives you hours of enjoyment and a real sense of achievement, and it is a pleasure to meet nice people who share the same interest.
One thing to know before you book: all three are partner dances, so our Stamford classes are for couples rather than individuals and you'll need to bring someone along. Most people who walk through the door have never danced a step in their lives. Beyond a partner, comfortable shoes are the only thing you need.

The styles you'll learn
They each have their own character, and most people find they take to one faster than the others. That is half the fun of learning all three.

Ballroom Dancing
Step into the world of elegance with classic ballroom dances, where you’ll learn timeless favourites such as the Waltz, Tango, Quickstep, and Foxtrot.

Sequence Dancing
Enjoy the charm of sequence dancing, where you’ll master set routines danced together in harmony with others.

Latin Dancing
Feel the rhythm and energy of Latin dancing with vibrant styles like the Cha-Cha, Rumba, and Jive, full of movement and fun.
