I was a bit unsure enrolling in the beginner’s class but knew my wife was keen. I shouldn't have worried .... as I love it. The structure and pace of the teaching are excellent (and everyone is supremely patient). We love the focus on learning a dance to get up and dance it for enjoyment. The socials are a great opportunity to practise what we learn in lessons and meet up with our new friends. Do not hesitate......do it!

We Joined Janina the Nene School of Dancing about 12 years ago. IN that time we have learnt so much Ballroom &Sequence dancing and keeps us up to date with all the new dances that come out. Before I started dancing, I genuinely believed I had absolutely zero dance ability.  I was the person who avoided weddings, parties, and any event with a dance floor.  But through Janina’s patience, practice, and the right guidance, something incredible happened - I discovered I can dance.

Now, not only do I feel confident moving to the beat, but I enjoy dancing.  It’s become a source of joy, expression, and even stress relief.  If you’d told me a year ago, I’d be dancing with confidence, I wouldn’t have believed you.  But here I am - living proof that anyone can learn to dance, no matter where they startng Every Step.

Over 20 years ago, we had a dance lesson on a cruise with the intention of continuing - but life had other plans.  Fast forward two decades, and we finally booked lessons.  From the very first session, Janina’s teaching style proved to be exactly what we needed.  She has a natural gift for making beginners feel at ease, breaking things down in a way that is clear, encouraging, and fun.

For many years Janina Mossman taught us how to dance.

We started as beginners and she guided us successfully all the way through to receiving IDTA Gold-Star Five medals in both Ballroom and Latin dancing. Her inspirational method of teaching, infinite patience and humour made it possible for us to enjoy the whole process.

We started dancing in 2009 and are still learning new steps every week.
